Certificate in Higher Education Teaching

Individuals who have earned their certificate in Higher Education Teaching at Cleveland State University have the verified skills for full-time and part-time teaching roles in colleges and universities. Each certificate holder was taught by experienced CSU faculty in areas including adult education, pedagogy, student learning, innovative classrooms, assessment methods, diversity and inclusion, and online teaching. Requirements include completing six learning units, participating in six faculty-led discussions, and a comprehensive learning portfolio as a final assessment of learning outcomes.
